I too, had trouble w/acne, in the past, and STILL have breakouts, every once in awhile. That book looks amazing and I will definetly check out your link. Great haul and thanks for sharing!!!!!!
Aww so glad I made you day with the Promise :) How to all the Dukes have me drooling and I will be waiting for your review. I cannot wait to read the first Hellion book..eep. I will check out the PI book you have me curious. You had an amazing week this week and I hope this week brings you the same. Thanks for being a part of The Sunday Post
Having a historical romance phase are we? I love those too but now I look for paranormal elements so I take mine with a dash of steampunk or similar to Callihan's Darkest London series. Enjoy the rest of the week!
That's quite an eclectic collection! Good luck with teh acne program; I hate being middle-aged and still dealing with acne but it has calmed down quite a bit. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
I hate when I don't pay attention to what I'm doing :(
I was saying that it's a total bummer you had to go on Accutane b/c that stuff is hardcore :( It's great you found Perricone's book and that it works for you (and the added shrinkage!). I totally agree with how what you eat affects your body (well, duh) but I never really think about my face.
And you shouldn't feel guilty one second for picking up 3 USED books make you happy! At least you have a used bookstore to go to!!! Hope you have a happier week this week :)
I already finished the accutane it was a bit tough but I got through and am happy with my results. I just want to continue having great skin so my diet is changing. But man oh man I miss fried foods!
I agree completely how food affects your skin. Its so true, you are what you eat. Its amazing how making a few changes drastically impacts your life. OMG though I am sorry I could NEVER give up pasta and bread 100%, but I could chose healthier options. I had this whole wheat pasta that was surprisingly yummy. My issue would be sweets! Cheesecake, cupcakes, chocolate...Ok, enuf outta me! lolz
I ADORE Historical Romance too. Its the first romance style i ever read and that was it I was hooked!
The book about the son of a Nazi & Jewish girl sounds wonderful, but is it a bit sad?
I can't believe I haven't heard of any of those books. I'll have to check them out. The one about eating affecting your skin sounds interesting. I never knew that it could affect your skin! your skin looks really clear and pretty now. I hear avocados are good. Anyways, hope you enjoy all your books My STS/Sunday Post
I love your Sunday Vlogs, it almost makes me want to do vlogs instead of typing everything. Almost...I find the whole thing super awkward to do. I had to read Life of Pi in high school and I remember enjoying it, it's certainly different. Sadly I think my copy went to a used bookstore because I don't seem to have it anymore. I should probably change my diet around a bit, maybe my breaks out will go away. Though it tends to be stress related but it couldn't hurt. I hope you enjoy all of your books and thank you for stopping by!
