Chapters 14-17
1. Well... We encountered a pretty hot sex scene this week with a nice little creative twist. What did you guys think of the paranormal sex that took place?
2. Why do you think the Skinwalker attacked Evan and not Sarah this time?
3. Do you agree with Amber and Kate that what is going on might be because of Evan himself, rather than Sarah being an Indigo Child? Why or why not?
4. We've learned a lot about Evan this week. Do you think he and his brother are responsible for their parents deaths?

ReplyDelete1) Loved it and can I just keep reading???? :) LOL I'm totally enjoying these twists and my feeble attempts to put everything together.
2) This Italian history on the paranormal was such a fun element, and I can't wait to see who lands where and on what side. I feel that there's more to Evan and his connection to the 'happenings'. My worry is that he is in on it even though he got hurt and was the target... I just don't know.
3) I totally see their point. He seems to be full of surprises and talents that seem more impressive than hers. Although, together the talents are super-sized. I kind of think his arrival has a lot to do everything, but..... I just don't know.
4) Well, it doesn't sound promising. The news articles and such weren't comforting. I can't imagine that he'd be out and about if that were the case, but again the twists keep coming. Looking forward to what you guys are thinking!

3)I keep thinking what is going on is Evan himself> None of this stuff started till Evan showed up. I cannot wait to keep reading find out.
4)oh!! GI don't think they are responsible but I think whatever they are had a cause an effect on the death of his parents.

Delete1) It was definitely a good scene to read...couldn't take my eyes away from the pages til it was over!
ReplyDelete2) I feel like it attacked Evan to try to keep him and Sarah apart, or to get a reaction from Sarah. I think it doesn't like how they are teaming up and becoming stronger together rather than individually.
3) I think it definitely has something to do with Evan. It is so hard to keep from reading further into the book because the suspense with him is killing me!!! :)
4) I think Evans brother plays a big part in the death of the parents, and maybe Evan is keeping quiet to protect his brother, or...maybe he just doesn't know how dark his brother is. Kind of like the movie coming out soon, Beautiful Creatures, where one is good and the other bad. My gut is telling me that may be the case with these two. I seriously can't wait to find out though!

DeleteI told Danielle at the time I submitted my questions that I'd see everyone later once I was done reading the rest of this book. Yeah...I'm trying SO hard not to read ahead right now. Sigh
ReplyDelete1. Over too soon, that's all I have to say. I don't know why but my thoughts ran to Practical Magic while I was reading the scene. You know the scene where she's talking to the detective in the hotel room and suddenly they are all over each other...yeah, I thought of that. Only this time they completed things, rather than her running off because of his eyes.
2. Someone doesn't want these two characters to unite power-wise. Course, if they want Sarah, the best way to screw with her is to kill those she loves, so it makes sense they would try to go after him since she's emotionally invested in him. That and he amplifies her powers.
3. Everything started the day he showed up...something just isn't right there...
4. I think they had a hand in it happening. Maybe not directly, but a definite hand in it. I'm also leaning heavily on the brother at this point.

ReplyDelete1) Can we have more senses like that please, I do like them. This book is really hard to put down, it keeps you on your toes.
2) I think they Went for Evan this time because, if it was the same skinwalker maybe he remembered what Sarah could do or the last Skinwalker told this one she has some kind of power to keep them away. Could be that they see him as a threat and went him away from Sarah.
3) I think Evan knew from the start what Sarah is and has been using it as a cover for his powers. Maybe he does lose a little control when she is around. Whatever the truth is, he hasn’t told it all yet. Can’t wait to find out
4) I don’t think Evan was involved, but I have my doubts about his brother. I think Evan might have just gotten caught up in something.
