Cover Wars Vote: Alison Packard VS Emma Jay

This is a "meme" started by me, and one I really love. Cover Wars takes two covers and puts them against each other. I am a huge fan of book covers, and sometimes I buy books strictly because the cover sucked me in. This week's Cover Wars happens to be a repeat. I am not sure why but I look at these covers and while they are different they look so much alike. So this week we are having a battle of the kissing couples.

Kayla Maxwell is eager to shed her slasher-flick bimbo image—and she plans to do just that in her new role on daytime’s most popular soap. With a chance to showcase her dramatic range, Kayla will be able to wash away the lingering betrayal and public humiliation left by her controlling, philandering ex-boyfriend.

Sean Barrett, the son of an influential, award-winning actor, is the hottest soap star in the country. Paired on-screen with the talented and beautiful Kayla Maxwell, Sean is determined to keep her at arm’s length, burned before by fame-seeking actresses who had no qualms about using him to get to his famous father.

But when Kayla receives threatening letters, her past as a scream queen seems to be coming back to haunt her. Succumbing to an attraction neither one of them can deny, Sean and Kayla must face down her stalker and their own personal demons before trusting what they both feel—a love that lasts long after the cameras stop rolling.

Business woman Elizabeth Black arrives in Hawaii on a trip with her girlfriends. Elizabeth and her friends are there to help bride Haven with last minute details for her destination wedding. Elizabeth hasn’t had a vacation in years, or a relationship in a year, but she never expects to be drawn to their laid-back beach-boy tour guide. But handsome Max Sullivan is something she vaguely remembers–fun. Her friends encourage her to indulge herself in a week-long fling. But when she gives into desire, will she also give up her heart?

  1. Hey Danielle, I would like to start doing Cover Wars on my blog but don't know how to do so without stepping on your toes. Do other people do it in conjunction with you or post the same thing you post? Or could I post my own choices for covers but use your Cover Wars graphic, link back to you and then you have a linky and I will link to it? What do you think? Let me know. My email is 3girlzmama at gmail dot com
